OUR WEAKNESS TURNED INTO STRENGTH BY THE LORD

During times of adversity, it is natural to reflect upon past events and contemplate one's beliefs. Recently, I found myself considering this very notion. While reading Ether 12:27 in the Book of Mormon, I encountered a particularly insightful passage from the Lord: "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." This scripture reminds us that the Lord reveals our imperfections to facilitate our spiritual growth and eventual overcoming of those limitations. As we strive to be perfected in Christ, acknowledging our vulnerabilities enables us to develop greater humility and submission, much like a child before our Heavenly Father. As we humble ourselves before Him, the Lord possesses the power to transform our weaknesses i...

PERFECTED IN CHRIST .....!!

I have been contemplating the profound message found in Moroni 10:32: "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." This scripture has prompted thoughtful consideration regarding the process of achieving perfection in Christ. It is easy to become absorbed in the pursuit of worldly attainments and perhaps lose sight of the crucial principle of being perfected in Christ in both our temporal and spiritual lives. Indeed, this spiritual perfection stands as the ultimate purpose of our earthly existence. Considering our inherent human weaknesses, we may sometimes place undue emphasis on outward appearances and worldly achievements, potentially neglecting the es...

"ONWARD ONWARD EVER ONWARD IN THE SERVICE OF THE LORD"

Reflecting upon my missionary journey and experiences in life, I have been contemplating the profound question: "Am I with Him always, even unto the end of the world?" Through moments of joy and in times of hardship, may we continue to move forward with unwavering faith, trusting in the Lord's constant presence as we navigate our moral path. Let us proceed resolutely in service to the Lord. Even as doubts may surface and challenges arise, may we persevere in fighting the good fight of faith. In the face of adversity, we shall continue, strengthened by His enduring promise, "I am with you always, even unto the end of the world" (Matthew 28:20). His love is indeed sufficient for our needs, and His grace is ample to atone for our sins. We belong to God, having been redeemed by the precious blood of His Son. As we navigate the course of our lives, let us always remember that when we falter, He will lift us with His righteous right hand. Therefore, let us move onward...

WHERE ART THOU ???

Throughout our lives, many of us may at times find ourselves questioning God's presence, perhaps asking, "Where art thou?" It seems this inquiry arises naturally during periods of adversity, as even revered figures such as King David and Jesus Christ, in the Garden of Gethsemane, voiced comparable feelings amidst their trials. When we contemplate this question, the Lord's enduring response echoes: "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalms 46:10). As the scripture in Isaiah 41:10 reassures us, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee." In our moments of tribulation, may we find solace in these comforting words. If we place our trust in Him, we can be confident in His constant presence, working both within us and on our behalf. Even when disappointments arise and we navigate life's challenges, the Lord serves as our refuge. He offers healing to the wounded spirit and uplifts us in times of despair. Through modern revelation, He offered reassurance to ...

AFTER FAILURE

Recently, I was reminded of a valuable lesson shared by a high school teacher: "When life knocks you down, get back up quickly, take a moment to look around, and shake off the dust." This simple yet profound statement has resonated with me, particularly in reflecting on the role of failure in our lives. While setbacks are inevitable, what truly matters is our response to them. Do we remain defeated, or do we choose to rise and continue our journey, enriched by the experience? It's essential to examine our failures – to understand how we fell, identify areas for change and improvement in all aspects of our lives, and prevent repeating the same mistakes. Learning from our faults, rather than dwelling on them, is key. We must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and keep moving forward. Above all, we should never lose faith in ourselves. MARRIAGE..????

MARRIAGE I have been giving considerable thought to the concept of eternal marriage, particularly as an individual who has not yet entered into this sacred union. I find myself contemplating the essential nature and profound importance of marriage within our lives. Reflecting upon the divine creation of the first man and woman, who were ordained as husband and wife from the very beginning, I observe the shifting societal perspectives where marriages between individuals of the same sex are now acknowledged. This prompts me to inquire about the origin and divine approval of such unions, especially when considering traditional religious doctrines that have expressed disapproval. Given the current global reality where these marriages exist, I wonder if this signifies a departure from established principles. Marriage, traditionally understood as a sacred covenant solemnized before God, was ordained by Him prior to the creation of the world. This leads me to consider whether the present glob...

"IF YE LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS"

(an image of Moses with the ten commandments) The Savior’s declaration, “If ye love me, keep my commandments,” invites us to deeply consider the sincerity of our devotion to God. While many express their love for Him, our actions, desires, and thoughts often reveal a different reality. True love is shown through sincere obedience to His teachings, engaging our whole heart, might, mind, and strength, rather than selectively following certain principles while ignoring others. It is crucial that we assess the depth of our love and commitment. Are we offering God our complete loyalty, or just a fraction of our time and attention? If our love for Him is real, we should strive to live according to His commandments. These divine instructions are meant to protect and guide us through the challenges of our mortal journey, not to limit us. God’s boundless love for us is evident in the ultimate sacrifice of His Son. Considering this profound act of kindness, we might reflect on the Savior’s quest...
