MARRIAGE..????

MARRIAGE

I have been giving considerable thought to the concept of eternal marriage, particularly as an individual who has not yet entered into this sacred union. I find myself contemplating the essential nature and profound importance of marriage within our lives.

Reflecting upon the divine creation of the first man and woman, who were ordained as husband and wife from the very beginning, I observe the shifting societal perspectives where marriages between individuals of the same sex are now acknowledged. This prompts me to inquire about the origin and divine approval of such unions, especially when considering traditional religious doctrines that have expressed disapproval. Given the current global reality where these marriages exist, I wonder if this signifies a departure from established principles.

Marriage, traditionally understood as a sacred covenant solemnized before God, was ordained by Him prior to the creation of the world. This leads me to consider whether the present global climate, characterized by conflicts and the increasing prevalence of same-sex marriage, suggests a parallel to periods such as Sodom and Gomorrah, or if it potentially indicates that we are living in the latter days.

It is my conviction that marriage as an eternal bond between a man and a woman remains the Lord's original design, a principle that has not been altered. I would be grateful for insight into where, within our doctrines and sacred texts, the concept of same-sex marriage as being sanctioned by God is established. While we recognize the agency of individuals to make their own decisions in this life and should refrain from condemnation, our primary focus remains on fulfilling our divine purpose and preparing to return to our Heavenly Father.

It is my sincere hope that we may all attain a more profound comprehension of the true meaning of marriage and the underlying reasons for God's ordination of this union between a man and a woman.
