PERFECTED IN CHRIST .....!!

I have been contemplating the profound message found in Moroni 10:32: "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." This scripture has prompted thoughtful consideration regarding the process of achieving perfection in Christ.

It is easy to become absorbed in the pursuit of worldly attainments and perhaps lose sight of the crucial principle of being perfected in Christ in both our temporal and spiritual lives. Indeed, this spiritual perfection stands as the ultimate purpose of our earthly existence.

Considering our inherent human weaknesses, we may sometimes place undue emphasis on outward appearances and worldly achievements, potentially neglecting the essential perfection of our inner selves. The Lord’s counsel to "be like little children" invites us to cultivate humility and meekness throughout our mortal journey, yielding to God in all aspects of our lives. It is through this humility that we can be perfected in Him, acknowledging that genuine perfection arises not solely through our individual endeavors but through His divine grace.

This passage from the Book of Mormon has inspired meaningful introspection on the true meaning of being perfected in Christ. While we often concentrate on developing Christlike attributes, it serves as a valuable reminder to also consider the importance of becoming as a child in His sight.

May we all persist in earnestly seeking perfection in Christ. It is my sincere hope that the Lord will mold each of us according to His will and that we may ultimately attain our perfection in Him.
