WE MUST EXERCISE EFFORT....!!!



It is easy to overlook the constant and loving presence of our Heavenly Father amidst the trials of life. His gracious invitation  "COME UNTO ME" is extended to everyone, requiring only our earnest endeavor.

Our God is a God of action. Just as Moses was required to ascend Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments, we too are asked to act. The Lord stands at the door and knocks, but it is our responsibility to open it through our dedicated efforts.

This principle applies to all facets of our existence. We ought to strive and apply ourselves to our marriages, our studies, our careers, and even our prayers. It is through this commitment and dedication that we become recipients of blessings. The Lord’s invitation remains clear: "COMES UNTO  ME ." He calls us to be active participants in our faith.

Therefore, in all matters of the heart and in every aspect of our spirituality, let us resolve to exert diligent effort so that we may be perfected in Christ. Our growth comes through our dedication, our challenges, and by applying ourselves in all our endeavors. "COME UNTO ME" He Says , friends. Let us respond to His call and make the necessary effort to draw closer to Him.

LEARNING TO FORGIVE

Reflecting on the conversation between Jesus and Peter about forgiveness, I am struck by the disparity in how we approach seeking forgiveness from God versus extending it to one another. It seems we often readily ask for divine absolution while simultaneously holding onto resentment towards our fellow human beings. Each day, we pray for God's forgiveness, yet our hearts may remain burdened with anger. How can we truly expect to receive divine forgiveness if we are unwilling to forgive those around us? The Lord's Prayer reminds us to ask God to "forgive us our transgressions as we forgive those who transgress against us." However, we often struggle to embody this very principle in our interactions with others. Forgiveness is indeed pivotal to our spiritual journey and unlocks the many blessings the Lord desires to bestow upon us.
