FROM CASUAL TO COMMITTED: REDISCOVERING THE TRUE ESSENCE OF DATING AND MARRIAGE...!!

The Evolution of Dating and Courtship: A Call for Meaningful Connections The concept of dating has undergone a profound transformation, deviating from its original intent. Traditionally, dating was a process of getting to know someone, fostering a connection between two individuals who shared mutual interest and affection. However, contemporary perspectives on dating have prioritized personal gain, fleeting experiences, and casual encounters over meaningful connections. The Shift in Dating Culture In today's society, dating has become increasingly casual, with many individuals embracing the idea of dating multiple partners simultaneously without consideration for emotional attachment or long-term commitment. This shift has led to a distortion of the original purpose of dating, which is to build a connection between two people based on mutual respect, trust, and understanding. Courtship: A Step Towards Meaningful Relationships After getting to know someone through dating, the next s...

IF A MAN DIES,WILL HE LIVE AGAIN ??

IF A MAN DIES,WILL HE LIVE AGAIN ?? As I grapple with the profound question posed by Job, 'If a man dies, will he live again?'(Job14:14), the recent loss of my brother's child weighs heavily on my heart. Though I didn't know the child, the ache within me is palpable. In the midst of this sorrow, the answer to Job's question resounds with hope: through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, the promise of eternal life brings solace. Death may be an inevitable part of life's journey, but the pain of losing loved ones is a universal human experience that transcends understanding. My heart wrestles with emotions, torn between sadness and anguish. Yet, in the depths of grief, I find comfort in the redemption and life offered through Jesus Christ. The cycle of life – birth, death, and eternal life – reminds me that our time on this earth is but a fragment of eternity. Losing loved ones leaves an unfillable void, breaking our hearts in ways that may seem irreparable. As someon...

To all the mothers out there, you are the cornerstones of your families. While fathers may be the foundation, mothers are the heart, strength, and pride of the household. My heart and prayers go out to you all, especially to my grandmother, thank you for your sacrifices. BY  ELDER MHONDERA

FAMILY IS ORDAINED OF GOD

I don't know much about love, However, the love I've received from my grandparents is indescribable - it's the kind of love that flows through family, a gift from God. Many people, including myself, may have said they don't want to get married, but we truly don't understand the beauty of family. The foundation of family was established at the beginning of time when God ordained Adam and Eve as husband and wife. Each of us has the privilege of experiencing this beautiful institution Understanding Family and Love The concept of family was established at the beginning of time when God ordained Adam and Eve as husband and wife. This institution is a beautiful expression of love and commitment. As it says in Genesis 1:28, God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it". The Value of Children Children are considered a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him (Psalm 127:3-5). The Bible emphasizes the importance of guiding a...

WE ARE NOT DEFINED BY OUR PAST MISTAKES......!!

I have been reflections on whether our identities are shaped more by past errors or by previous challenges. It often happens that we burden ourselves with remorse for mistakes we have made. However, should this be the case? When we dwell on the past, we risk diminishing our enjoyment of the present. It might be more beneficial to learn from what has transpired and direct our focus toward the future, ensuring that past events do not hinder our future progress. Our advancement is propelled by strength and love, not by weakness or animosity. It seems more constructive to glean lessons from our history rather than to remain fixated upon it. By reflecting on our past, we create opportunities for growth and the evolution of our perspectives. The present moment is a precious gift, and by learning from our experiences, we can embrace the future with greater preparedness. The Lord’s assurance, "I am with you always," offers comfort and guidance in every endeavor. It is my belief that...
